Dragon Ball Daimahas quickly introduced a new character who’s looking to play a critical role in the new series' plot. But just who is Glorio, this Demon Realm native who has come to seek Goku’s help against King Gomah? Though information on Glorio is still sparse,Dragon Ball Daimaepisode #3gave a few small details about the new hero that could have big implications on Goku’s journey through the Demon Realm.
Glorio is first seen spying on King Gomah, and then shows up at the Lookout on Earth, in search of Goku. Glorio attempts to recruit Goku to defeat Gomah, on behalf of the demon lord who rules the Third Demon World, one of three areaswithin the Demon Realm. While many of Goku’s allies are initially suspicious of Glorio, Goku ends up agreeing to help Glorio to gain access to the Demon Realm and save Dende. Glorio then leads Goku and the Supreme Kai into the Third Demon World, where he begins to tip his hand as to his identity and purposes.

Glorio’s Exact Reasons For Helping Goku Are Still Unkown
Glorio is a Demon Realm native, originating from the poor area known as the Third Demon World, and claims to have been sent on behalf of the demon lord who rules it. Very little of his past other than that has been revealed so far.Glorio is a man of few words, although he can be courteous, such aswhen he allowed Bulma to examine his planein order to help repair the Supreme Kai’s own ship. He’s also shown to be considerate of Goku’s requests, such as when he voiced that he was hungry, leading Glorio to take him to a nearby bar for hamburgers.
Glorio appears to be an extremely competent martial artist, dealing with the rowdy bar patrons without breaking a sweat, as well as handling the bandits who attempted to attack them in the wastelands. He also seems to be an accomplished pilot, able to traverse space and alternate dimensions in order to reach Earth. Despite his skill in hand-to-hand combat,Glorio seems to rely primarily on an energy pistolas his main weapon. While Glorio’s occupation isn’t known, his eavesdropping on Gomah and working for the demon lord suggests that he might be a spy or mercenary.
His role in the story is to act asGoku’s guide to the Demon Realm, as someone who is far more experienced with this dangerous new world. It’s known that he opposes Gomah, but other than stopping Gomah’s ascension to Demon King, Glorio’s goals and motives remain unknown.Glorio is quite unlike most existingDragon Ballcharacters, especially with his preference for a weapon, which few characters use.
Glorio remains quite a mysterious figure and has been evasive when pressed for details on his past. He likely has ulterior motives for recruiting Goku into this battle against Gomah, although exactly what those reasons might be is yet to be revealed. For now, at least, Glorio and Goku share a goal inDragon Ball Daima, and that’s to defeat Gomah and prevent him from becoming the King of the Demon Realm.
