Warning! This article contains spoilers for Invincible season 3, episode 7.
Invincibleseason 3, episode 7 finally introduces the character played byBreaking Bad’s Jonathan Banks, but who is it? Banks’ involvement inInvincibleseason 3’s castwas first announced before the show began airing, yet he was one of the few actors whose character was not revealed. This led to many theories about which character inInvincibleseason 3’s storyBanks could be voicing, with a common choice among fans being a major villain set to debut properly in the finale.

This character isInvincible’s villainous Conquest, a Viltrumite who appears to ready Earth for the empire’s invasion after Anissa’s warning in season 2. Theending ofInvincibleseason 2teased Conquest’s arrival, yet season 3, episode 7 saw the character’s voice actor confirmed as Jeffrey Dean Morgan. Naturally, this confused many who had convinced themselves that Banks was voicing the character, but the same episode also introduced the hero voiced by theBreaking Badicon.
Jonathan Banks Voices Brit In Invincible Season 3
A Supportive Hero Of The GDA
As many theorized, the many Invincibles fromInvincibleseason 3, episode 6 led into episode 7’s Invincible War. As the heroes of Earth united to defeat the villainous variants of Mark Grayson, one closely affiliated with Cecil was introduced. This character in question, voiced by Jonathan Banks, is a superhero named Brit, a popular hero fromInvincible’s source material.
Brit was first shown in the aftermath of an attack on the Pentagon by one of Mark’s variants before heading out to help others. Although Brit does not have much in the way of strength, the character’s power is that he is almost completely invulnerable, making him a vital protector of Earth’s citizens. Brit is later seen aiding Donald as the Invincible War comes to a close.

I Hope Jonathan Banks' Brit Gets A Bigger Role In Future Seasons
The Actor Is Too Good To Waste
As someone who has never read theInvinciblecomic books, I am hoping Brit has a bigger role going forward. His role inInvincibleseason 3, episode 7 was intriguing, but a large portion of the installment’s screen time was naturally attributed to Mark’s various battles against himself and Angstrom Levy. Given how much I love Jonathan Banks as an actor, I am hoping for a bigger role for Brit inInvincibleseason 4’s story.
This gives me hope that Brit’s character does continue on, allowing Banks to highlight the range and gravitas he evidently possesses…

I am aware that Brit continues to appear inInvincible’s comics after the Invincible War, even featuring in his own off-shoot series. This gives me hope that Brit’s character does continue on, allowing Banks to highlight the range and gravitas he evidently possesses. Admittedly, Conquest would have allowed for this, but what I saw of Brit inInvincibleseason 3, episode 7 proves that Banks is a good fit for the character, especially if he gets more to do in season 4 and beyond.
