When Will Y2K Release On Streaming?
Y2K Is Expected To Stream On Max
A24 has not announced whenY2Kwill be released on streaming, but the movie is expected to stream on Max at the appropriate time. This is due to A24 and Warner Bros.’s deal from 2023 to bring each new A24 movie to Max for its streaming debut. Typically, there is an average gap of nearly four months between an A24 film’s theatrical debut and its streaming launch. This would indicate thatY2K’s streaming release could come in April 2025if the same schedule is used. It could come a month earlier potentially depending on the box office.
When Will Y2K Release On Digital?
A VOD Release Is Coming Too
The earliest option to watchY2Kat home will come through its digital release, but A24 has not announced when that will happen yet. The studio typically waits around 45 days after a film’s theatrical debut to make it available on VOD. This would meanY2Kcould be released on digital services in January 2025.
