As it turns out,Tabitha’s fall from the lighthouse transported her to Camden, Maine, which could very well be a nod to Maine-based horror author Stephen King, who has publicly praisedFrom’s castand horror story. Not only is Tabitha officially outside the trapped Township and back in real society, but the location she was transported to also has an important personal connection to another longtime resident ofFrom’s town.

The Lighthouse Portal Took Her To Victor’s Hometown In Camden, Maine
The lighthouse portal inFromleads directly to Camden, Maine – at least for Tabitha; the destination could potentially vary for any character who the Boy in White pushes out of the tower. Camden is a real-life small town located on Penobscot Bay that has been inhabited by members of the Penobscot Nation for thousands of years. InFromseason 3,Tabitha discovers that Camden is the hometown of the Township’s longtime resident Victor, as the lunchbox he gave her is inscribed with his home address from when he was a kid.
Tabitha, Jim, and the Matthews family were on a road trip to Yellowstone when they arrived at the Township, so the portal didn’t send her back to where she was before becoming trapped.
Tabitha then ventures to theaddress in Victor’s lunchbox, leading her to his family home which is still inhabited by Victor’s father.Fromseason 2, episode 8’s flashbacksrevealed that it was only Victor, his mother, and his sister who were trapped in the town when he was a child, with the latter two dying afterFrom’s monsters massacred the residents one night. The absence of Victor’s father wasn’t explained, but Tabitha’s story inFromseason 3 is finally filling in these blanks as she meets him in Camden.

The key to solvingFrom’s mysteries and unanswered questionsisn’t just to find out how to escape the town, but also to find out how to get to the town, where exactly it is, and what causes individuals to become trapped there. Now that Tabitha has been trapped in the town and found a way to escape through the lighthouse, she’s the crucial element to solving the other end of the town’s mysteries.With the help of Victor’s father, Tabitha can work backward from Victor’s hometown to find an “entrance” to the Townshipand help her friends and family escape.

The monsters of From are still something of an enigma, but the show has provided several clues to their identity and the very nature of the town.
Victor has been trapped inFrom’s townlonger than any other resident, and it’s implied that he may be among the very first people to arrive at the Township. If so, thenCamden likely has an important connection to the Township’s origins and would be the best location to begin at when trying to find the Township’s location. Victor was driving with his mom and sister when they became trapped there several decades beforehand, so his father may have some idea of their intended route from Camden that Tabitha can follow inFromseason 3.
