The next saga ofPokemon Horizonshas officially been confirmed, and it’s airing sooner than one might think. On the eve of the finale of the “Rayquaza Rising” saga, it was announced thatHorizonswould enter a new saga,Pokemon Horizons: Mega Voltage, which will not only follow an unspecified timeskip, but will bring Mega Evolutions back into focus, likely to tie into the upcoming release ofPokemon Legends: Z-A.

As such,even thoughPokemon Horizons: Mega Voltageofficially premieres in Japan on Jun 28, 2025, it’s unlikely to premiere at the same time in English.
As for whenMega Voltagewill premiere in English, new English episodes release at about 10 at a time every two or three months on Netflix, with the second half ofTerastal Debutpremiering in late April following the first half’s February premiere. That means thatRayquaza Risingwill be released from June to August at best, and with that schedule in mind,Pokemon Horizons: Mega Voltagewill likely premiere in English in October 2025 at the earliest. Add in how often the anime adds a unique spin on the games with its own lore, andPokemon Horizons: Mega Voltage’s take on Mega Evolutionswill likely make them more exciting than ever.
More than that, of course, is what it means for the anime, as a whole.
