Harry Potteractors James and Oliver Phelps, who played Fred and George Weasley, respectively, each share their favorite entries in the franchise. The release ofThe Sorcerer’s Stonein 2001 spawned seven sequels, withThe Deathly Hallows: Part 2concluding the journey of Daniel Radcliffe’s journey in 2011. TheHarry Pottermovies, based on the books by J.K. Rowling, were wildly successful and widely beloved, and the Phelps twins appeared in all eight installments.

During a recent “Never Have I Ever” interview segment withDelish, the Phelps twins reflect on their time in theHarry Potterfranchise. After a prompt that reads “never have I ever disliked one of the Harry Potter films,” James takes the time to earnestly explain that neither of them thinks there’s a weak link in the eight films:

Daniel Radcliffe as Harry Potter in Harry Potter in the Deathly Hallows Part 1

I’m not just saying this, I’m very, very lucky to say that we’ve been a part of something whichwe genuinely enjoy all eight filmsthat we’ve been involved with. They’re definitely ones that stand the test of time.

One of the interviews then asks the brothers what their favorites movies are in the franchise, and both James and Oliver share differing answers:

Students gathered and looking shocked in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.

Oliver Phelps : There’s a few different ones, but I really like Deathly Hallows Part 1.

James Phelps: Me to watch, would probably be Prisoner of Azkaban, the third movie. That film was just such a fun thing to be a part of and visually-wise it looks awesome.

Our Take On Phelps' Harry Potter Top Picks

All Eight Movies Are Valid Choices

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkabanwas critically-acclaimed and is now widely considered a franchise highlight, but Oliver’s pick ofThe Deathly Hallows – Part 1is no less valid. Each movie in the franchise has a slightly different tone, with some being lighter and others darker, andthere really is no right or wrong answer about which one is the best. While whichHarry Pottermovie stands above the rest is, of course, a matter of personal preference, it’s clear that both James and Oliver Phelps are both grateful for their time in the franchise.

Harry Potter

Harry Potter is a multimedia franchise about an orphaned boy who enrolls at Hogwarts School of Wizardry, where he learns the truth about himself, his family, and the terrible evil that haunts the magical world. Adapted from the novels, Harry Potter is an eight-episode film saga that follows the journey of Harry Potter and his friends, Hermoine Granger and Ron Weasley, as they navigate the tricky world of growing up, school life, and magic. Starting from year one and moving to their seventh year, the films chronicle the students' time at Hogwarts while unfurling a sinister plot that centers around the unsuspecting Harry. With the return of the dark wizard, Voldemort, the students and professors at Hogwarts will fight to carry on as the world around them may change forever.
