“The publication ofVinland Sagawill end soon… I know I’m complaining even after a break, but… it’s hard to end a story,” Yukimura wrote on X (formerly Twitter). “Come to think of it, I’ve only drawn a final chapter once before. [Vinland Saga] is my second time. It’s really amazing that artists before me were able to finish long publications through the end. I respect them for that alone.”

Continuing, Yukimura went on to stress his biggest roadblock ahead of the finale. It turns out the creator ofVinland Sagawants to appease as many fans as possible with its final chapter. But of course, the artist knows it is impossible to leave every single reader satisfied.
