After first appearing in the franchise’s debut installment in 2001, Diesel returned as Dominic Toretto last year for Louis Leterrier’sFast X.Fast X: Part 2is now confirmed, and it could potentially be bringing the long-running franchise to an end, with Diesel revealing on Instagram last week that filming for the sequel is now underway.
Dieselnow shares two new behind-the-scenes looks atFast X: Part 2, teasing the kind of practical car stunts audiences can expect and Letty getting back behind the wheel. The first post is a short video that captures crew members and Leterrier next to a car-mounted camera rig before the shot then pans to catch a muscle car skidding to a stop on a city street. Diesel’s caption also confirms that the next installment is targeting a 2026 release. Check it out below:
