Future Community Votes May Be Coming For UFC 5
EA Implied This Vote Was Just The First One
In its announcement for the new Alter Egos, EA Sports called this event the “inaugural” fan vote. That could imply that the developer is planning on holding similar contests in the future, which could add more Alter Egos to the game. Nothing is official yet, so it’s unclear if any future votes would include Alter Egos that were not chosen in the first round, or would be all new fighters.
Unlike many of EA Sports’ other titles, theUFCgames are not annual releases. There was a three-year gap betweenUFC 4andUFC 5.This means there could potentially be a few more years forUFC 5to receive meaningful updates before a new game is released.
