Though this series doesn’t take place in main continuity, the way Wolverine kills Colossus at the end ofWolverine: Revenge #3gives a pretty definitive answer to who would have the upper hand in a battle between the two heroes. Other than the natural plot armor of Wolverine being the series’ titular and more popular mutant character, Piotr’s mutant power to convert his skin into an organic metal substance is still no match for Logan’s adamantium claws.Colossus is super-strong and durable, butWolverine is still able to break through his hard exterior with a single “snikt” through his head.

When Wolverine finally takes Colossus down once and for all, it’s clear that his journey of revenge has taken a severe physical and emotional toll on the hero.

Wolverine

The human mutant Wolverine (a.k.a. Logan) was born James Howlett, blessed with a superhuman healing factor, senses, and physiology. Subjecting himself to experimentation to augment his skeleton and claws with adamantium, Logan is as deadly as he is reckless, impulsive, and short-tempered. Making him the X-Men’s wildest and deadliest member, and one of Marvel Comics' biggest stars. He’s played in Fox and Marvel’s movie franchises by Hugh Jackman.
