After a nearly 5-year break, the belovedRunawaysare returning to Marvel Comics in a new 5-issue limited series that ties into the currentOne World Under Doomevent.Forced on the run once again after Doctor Doom targets the young heroes,Runawayswill see the iconic team fighting for their lives once again.
When we last sawthe Runawaysseveral major characters had left the team, withKarolina Dean going into space to heal her wounds with the Light Brigade, Chase kidnaped into the future by an older Gert, and the villainous Alex taking over the mantle of Doc Justice.

Runawayswill be written by Rainbow Rowell,the best-selling author whose work onRunawaysfrom 2017 to 2021 was critically acclaimed, with gorgeous art from Elena Casagrande, whose new take on the epic heroes can be seen in a lovely wraparound variant cover for the new series. Stephanie Hans' main cover forRunaways#1 features the series' main characters - Nico, Gert, Molly, Victor, Gib, and Doombot - while variant covers by Ejikure andPeach Momokohighlight the missing Karolina Dean as well as Nico and Molly.
Runaways' 100th Issue Finale Begins by Breaking up the Team
Marvel’s Runaways will be ending at its 100th issue by breaking up the team. The current run on the series, by Rainbow Rowell, will end at issue 38.
