Will Ruth, Mike & Remy Get Away With The Heist In The Sticky?

Based On The Real Great Canadian Maple Syrup Heist

The biggest question surrounding the end ofThe Stickyhas to do with whether Ruth, Mike, and Remy will get away with the heist. The show ends almost immediately after the trio drives away from the syrup warehouse, and while they are celebrating, there are a lot of loose ends that could come back to bite them in season 2. They not only have to sell the syrup but also have to worry about Mike’s crime family hunting them down. On top of that, the police will eventually realize that they are connected to Orval’s murder, while Leonard will also undoubtedly come to suspect Ruth.

In the real-life heist, the robbery was discovered in July 2012, and the culprits were arrested in December 2012, meaning that it didn’t take long to track them down. IfThe Stickyis anything like the real-life story that inspired it, then Ruth, Mike, and Remy won’t have long before they are caught, with this most likely being a major storyline inThe Stickyseason 2.
