Comic book art: The Eradicator looks down.

The Eradicator has been a complicated character over the years after his debut duringThe Death and Return of Supermansaga. While he’s mostly been a villain, he’s had heroic moments as well, so while it’s possible that he’s hacking the Justice League for nefarious purposes, it’s alsopossible that he’s doing it to warn the Justice League about something else. The Eradicator was created by the scientist Kem-L to preserve his ideal version of Kryptonian culture. The Eradicator hopes to destroy anything that goes against this idyllic version of Krypton, leading theEradicator into conflict with Supermanmany times in the past.

Is the Eradicator the Justice League’s Destroyer or Its Savior?

The Evil Superman Has a Mysterious Role to Play in the Question’s New Story

The Eradicator has a host of abilities similar to Superman’s, but one of his strongest powers is mechanokinesis: the ability to control mechanical things. He’s capable of controlling the basic mechanical things on Earth as well as the supercomputers of the Fortress of Solitude. Because of this specific power, there’sno reason to assume that the Eradicator wouldn’t be able to take over the Justice League Watchtowerif he found a way in. Previous villains with mechanokinesis, such as Cyborg Superman, have managed to do it in the past.

Thanks, DC: I Am Never, Ever Getting Over Superman’s Tragic New Origin Story

Superman already had one of the saddest origin stories in the DC Universe, but the latest addition to his background gives it a tragic twist.

All that readers know right now is that someone is plotting something on the Justice League Watchtower, and they’re willing to kill to accomplish their goals. While Renee Montoya is on the case, it’s unclear if she’ll discover that it’s the Eradicator behind it all or if the Eradicator will end up being a surprising ally against something far more sinister. The Eradicator has played both roles in the past, and there’s no doubt that fans are eager to see if theJustice Leaguewill be going up against this iconic evilSupermanonce again.
