Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is launching a new anthology miniseries, and in one of the stories, Leonardo gets a Conan the Barbarian-style redesign.
With the fourth issue focusing on Donatello, he will also be the focus of the fourth collectible variant cover. Meanwhile, as the family is expected to reunite in issue #5, a fifth standalone cover will feature all four Turtles. For those interested in purchasing their own copies, Danny Earls' covers will all be sold as 1:25 variants. The conception of the artwork for each cover is interesting as it does paint an individual journey for each Turtle, but will ultimately culminate in an inevitable reunion of them all coming together - which is quite reflective of the story to come.

A Showcase of New York City As a Character
You Can’t Have the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Without NYC
While each of these characters showcase one of the TMNT characters, there isan overlooked fifth character at the forefront of all of these covers: New York City. NYC has been instrumental in the growth and lore of the franchise. It’s no wonder it’s always the location of choice whenever stories focus on the central four. As seen in the background of each of these covers, the history of NYC is rich as it relates to the Turtles and plays a big part in who they become as characters.
