Ted Lassostar Juno Temple sets her AppleTV+ return with a new comedy series from A24. What This Means For Temple (And Ted Lasso)
Temple’s Two Projects Shouldn’t Face Scheduling Conflicts
An adaptation of Holly Gramazio’s novel,The Husbandsstars Temple as Lauren, a Londoner who is shocked one night to find her husband replaced by a man she doesn’t know, who thinks they are married. The stranger later disappears into the attic, and the man who emerges is yet another different person, who is also supposedly Lauren’s spouse. It soon dawns on Lauren that her attic is somehow producing an infinite series of husbands, each one different from the last.
Temple is also set to star in Gore Verbinski’s sci-fi movieGood Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die

Temple’s time onTed Lassoseemed at an end after the show finished season 3, but subsequent developments have led to AppleTV+ and theLassoteam entering negotiations for season 4, with Temple among those in talks to return alongside Jason Sudeikis.Temple’s new AppleTV+ role onThe Husbandsis not expected to conflict with herTed Lassoschedule, however, as the latter is set to begin work in mid-July, with the former not getting started until late fall at the earliest.
Our Take On Temple Adding Another AppleTV+ Show To Her Slate
The Husbands Sounds More Ted Lasso Than Fargo
Temple’s versatility is not in doubt after her harrowing performance as the kindly-but-deadly Dot inFargoseason 5. While that FX show saw the actor portraying the most extreme of emotions, all while maintaining her quirky charm, her new AppleTV+ projects sounds squarely planted on the whimsically funny side of things, with a premise that can only be called high-concept.
I’ll Only Watch Ted Lasso Season 4 If Hannah Waddingham Returns As Rebecca
Ted Lasso fans rejoice — season 4 is officially on the way. I can’t wait for its return, but Hannah Waddingham needs to come back as Rebecca Welton.
The Husbandsindeed sports an impressive roster of creatives, with Temple joined by a writer fromBeefandSuccession, and a director behind the buzzy limited seriesPam & Tommy. It seems the Keeley Jones actor’s schedule will be stuffed for the remainder of 2025, with her new show set to begin filming, reportedly, right around the timeTed Lassoseason 4 is finishing up (if everything goes to plan with that series’ return).
The Husbandsdoes not yet have a premiere date from AppleTV+
