In a new interview withScreenRant, Michael Cudlitz shared his thoughts on Lex finally getting to don a version of his famous Lexosuit from the comics inSuperman & Loisseason 4, after the baddie got hold of Steel’s battle armor in the latest episode. While promising that audiences won’t have to wait long to see him in it, Cudlitz also shared what the actual process was like of wearing it, as he stated the following:
It’s awesome.I can say with confidence, you will definitely see it within the next two episodes after this one.It’s a lot of fun, actually, it’s like getting back to being a 10-year-old and acting out/getting to be your favorite superhero. It’s ridiculous in the best way, you can’t move around very easily. You’re very restricted, and it takes three - myself included - to get you into it. So the three of us are all working very hard to get these components on so that everything looks good. But, yeah, no, it’s not heavy. I’m sure Wolé [Parks] would confirm that it’s not something you want to wear every day. But when you see it on film, you think, ‘Well, if I had to, I would wear it every day.’ It’s like a dream come true.
What Michael Cudlitz’s Lex Luthor Comments Mean For Superman & Lois Season 4
From what Cudlitz shared about his Lex getting to suit up,this is definitely a different way thatSuperman & Loisseason 4 is going about it, by having him utilize John Henry Irons' armor. However, much like howtheSuperman & Loisfinaleaims to stand out from other Superman media, it is not too shocking that they also did it for the Lexosuit in this incarnation. Hearing that Cudlitz, like many actors, had a blast getting to wear the suit is both fun and rewarding for viewers who have followedSuperman & Loisfor as long as they have.
Even thoughSuperman & Loisis ending sooner than many expected,the fact that the show got to a point where they could not only have Lex in the series but give him a big climax like thisis impressive in itself. In a very short amount of time, since he became part oftheSuperman & Loiscast, Cudlitz’s Lex has been utilized in a lot of solid ways, which makes him the perfect final big bad of the series. That is what will make the anticipation for the actual physical battle between Lex and Superman in these final episodes as high as it is.

While the audience already got a hugefight between Superman and Lexearlier this season,it will be exciting to see Cudlitz and Tyler Hoechlin have a more traditional showdown in these final episodes ofSuperman & Loisseason 4. This will also be the first time in live-action that Lex is actually taking on the Man of Steel with his armor, which should lead to a huge series finale in itself. With only two episodes left, the end of an era is upon the Arrowverse with the conclusion ofSuperman & Loisseason 4.
