The Magic Faraway Treestarted filming in June 2024, but with the first-look image being released, it’s possible that production has already finished and the release of the first teaser trailer is imminent. Otherwise,the first-look image was released in conjunction with director Ben Gregor’s interviewwithTHRabout the movie’s incredible ensemble cast. Other than the aforementioned actors, the cast also includes Dustin Demri-Burns, Mark Heap, Oliver Chris, Lenny Henry, Michael Palin, Jennifer Saunders, Hiran Abeysekera, and Pippa Bennett-Warner.

The director called Coughlan a perfect fit for Silky and commended her passion for the role. He also highlighted Rebecca Ferguon’s fun, creative energy as Dame Snap, and Andrew Garfield and Claire Foy, who are “amazing” as the parents of the family.
