How Pokémon’s Appletun Compares To Its Plush Form

Small Toy, Big Squish

Appletun may look like a big chunky lug of a Pokémon, but it’s canonically not actually that big. The Apple Nectar Pokémon is a measly one foot, four inches tall – the same size as Pikachu. The jumbo plush version of the Pokémon is about a foot and ten inches, raising the stuffed ‘mon taller than its in-game counterpart.

Luckily, the plush doesn’t weigh as much as the Pokémon. Appletun’s game stats have it weighing in at 28.7 lbs.The plushie is just 4.3 lbs, making it a perfectly huggable companion.

Bramblin, Mr. Mime, and Drowzee

Pokémon Center’s Newest Plush Is Pure Nightmare Fuel

The Pokémon Center’s latest merchandise isn’t for the faint-hearted as a notoriously creepy Pokémon is immortalized as a strangely cozy plush.

Reviews on the toy’s previous plush listing (also on thePokémon Centerwebsite) praise its size and squishiness, calling it “A big squishy apple lad,” “A good chonky girl,” a “cuddly boi,” and, best of all, a “Happiness Dispenser.” The cozy apple pie Pokémon evolves from Applin, which has several evolutionary forms. This isn’t the only evolution of Applin that’s getting some love recently. Dipplin will have a foil card in thePokémon TCG’s Fall Collector Chest, coming out on November 15.
