As depicted inVenomverse: Rebirth#4, after training all her life and beating her rivals, Okoye is finally able to face off against the Venom symbiote. While she refuses to submit to it, she does promise an equal partnership and true symbiosis, and that’s what earns her the title of Black Panther. This new look is a perfect blend between the iconic Venom and the famous Black Panther suitand even givesVenom’s look a new twistwith some fearsome fangs protruding from Okoye’s stomach.

Okoye still sports the recognizable Black Panther cowl, but also has the iconic elongated fangs protruding from her stomach.

The Black Panther Queen, bonded with the Venom symbiote, slaughters intruders in the Wakandan palace.

One of the most iconic elements of Venom’s design has always been his incredibly long and sharp teeth. Paired with his freakishly long tongue, this is an instantly recognizable appearance, no matter what color or shape Venom takes. Considering the Black Panther cowl is equally iconic, it seems Marvel decided to have the best of both worlds, as Okoye still sports therecognizable Black Panther cowl, but also has the iconic elongated fangs protruding from her stomach. It’s a freaky look that perfectly blends the most recognizable parts of two different heroes.

Venom & Black Panther Combined Is One Of Marvel’s Best New Character Designs In Years

A Deadly Combination

Not only is this new Venom/Black Panther design a fantastic look, but it’salso truly worthy of being used by what perhaps might be one of the strongest Venoms readers have seen so far. It’s less that Okoye wields actual physical power as Venom, but the fact she wields the full military and technological might of Wakanda as its queen. This fact alone makes Okoye a candidate for themost powerful Venom in the Multiverse. Wakanda has always been one of the strongest nations on Earth, with their technology centuries ahead of America, and all of that power is at Okoye’s fingertips.
