Nicolas Cage has been spotted as his Marvel character in newSpider-Noirset photos. Cage already famously played Spider-Man Noir, with his version of theMarvelcharacter appearing in two of thebest Spider-Man filmsof all time. However, the character did not speak in the animatedSpider-Versesequel, though Cage will reprise Noir inSpider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse. The animated trilogy’s finale is not the only time Cage will play the character in the future, as the actor will give life to a new version of the hero in theSpider-Noirseries, which is currently filming.

Just Jaredhas sharednew photos of Nicolas Cage on the set ofSpider-Noir. Cage can be seen with a fedora in the set photos, which is one of the most recognizable parts of Spider-Man Noir’s costume. While the actor appears as his character’s civilian persona in the set photos — who is not Peter Parker in this version of the Marvel hero — previousSpider-Noirset photos revealed a comic book-accurate Spider-Man Noir costumeis in play for the series. As filming continues, more details aboutSpider-Noir’s castand story should be revealed.

What The Spider-Noir Set Photos Mean

Nicolas Cage looks great in the newSpider-Noirset photos. They show a better look at his character in the superhero series' 1930s setting. While this version of the character is not Peter Parker like he is in the comics, Cage is perfectly dressed for what kind of role Spider-Man Noir has in his civilian life.Spider-Noirwill follow a yet-to-be-named character as a private investigator in 1930s New York Citywho has a past as the city’s only superhero and will have to deal with dark forces throughout the series.

The First Spider-Man Noir Set Photos Have Convinced Me That It’s The Sony Spider-Man Universe’s Perfect Replacement

Nicolas Cage’s Spider-Man Noir suit looks amazing in the first Spider-Noir set photos, and the series could be better than Sony’s Spider-Man Universe.

Cage’s look, with a trench coat, a suit, and a fedora, is perfect for a P.I. in the 1930s. Aside from that, not much can be said of the new set photos. In a previous batch of shots revealed fromSpider-Noir, it was shown thatCage’s Spider-Man Noir will look pretty much like how he does in the comics and theSpider-Versefilms. A high-speed chase scene was also filmed as Cage’s Spider-Man Noir stood on top of a car. Based on that, the series is doing a great job in the costume and action departments, at least.

Our Take On The Spider-Noir Set Photos

Nicolas Cage’s Spider-Man Noir Is Exciting

The newSpider-Noirset photos offer a closer look at Nicolas Cage as the civilian version of his Marvel character. I like the outfit choices for the character and the tone of the series from the set photos so far. It seems like a dark and stylized live-action version of Spider-Man is coming, which is what one would expect from a Spider-Man Noir adaptation. The new set photos make me more excited for the series' debut, and I hopeSpider-Noirlives up to its potential.
