Rather than return with his new pink atomic breath or regain his traditional look, Godzilla could resurface in the Monsterverse with a completely unfamiliar appearance. This idea is supported by Krichevsky, who confirmed thatEvolved Godzilla is a “mid-transformation.“Apparently, the effects of the electromagnetic radiation that Godzilla had absorbed into his body hadn’t fully run its course yet when Godzilla emerged from the Arctic Ocean. What that implies is that the transformation process will be completed later on.
If that’s the case, the final version of the transformation could be on display in theGodzilla x Kongsequel. In turn,this would give the Monsterverse an opportunity to invent a new design for Godzillato go along with the next entry in the franchise. Like the Evolved form, this change could come complete with a newcolor for Godzilla’s atomic breath.

Kong May Not Even Be Comparable To Godzilla
In addition to potential changes to his atomic breath and dorsal fins, a new design would most assuredly lead to a massive power level boost as well. After all, getting more powerful was the whole point of killing Tiamat in the first place. Considering that Godzilla is already the alpha of the Monsterverse, such an upgrade could make it even more difficult for his fellow Titans to challenge him. To deliver a worthy adversary to Kong and an even stronger Godzilla,the Monsterverse would need to top the duo of Skar King and Shimo.
Not only would this create the need for stronger villains, but it would affect his standing with his allies as well. InGodzilla x Kong: The New Empire,Shimo was surprisingly close to Godzilla’s level, with there even being some doubt that Godzilla is the stronger of the two. Most likely, though, upgrading Godzilla again would fix that. As for Kong, he’s already viewed as the inferior Titan based on his three losses to Godzilla in the Monsterverse, so a step-up from Evolved Godzilla would only further that impression.
