However, they end up on Skull Island two years later, learning Kentaro (Ren Watabe) and Hiroshi (Takehiro Hira) have joined Apex Cybernetics. Filming for season 2 began in July 2024, promising Kong’s formal introduction into the series after his cameo in the final moments of season 1.
