Among the newest arrivals to the game is Princess Merida, a beloved character from the Disney movieBrave,known for her bright orange curls and Scottish brogue.
With Merida making her way to the Valley, the horrifying nightmare-inducing GIF has resurfaced once again, showing bulging eyes and a t-pose from the movie. Luckily, this look did not make its way into the game, as the original poster states, “I don’t know what people are talking about.Merida looks great.“Though some might rejoice at the thought of this dreadful image of Merida not being brought to the Valley, some players are left wishing for a costume in the GIFs' likeness.

Luckily, Disney is fairly quick about getting glitches like Merida’s fixed. After getting a lot of backlash for theirpoor rendering of Belle’s facein the game, the character’s avatar was replaced with a much more appealing version. Who knows, though, maybe the developers will embrace this nightmare-fueled version of Merida for players in the magicalStorybook Valeexpansion ofDisney Dreamlight Valleyto enjoy.
