Path of Exile 2has already garnered quite a bit of good press, leading many players to wonder when they’ll be able to play it. Asequel to the originalPath of Exile, it’s aDiablo-style action RPG, in which players can select froma variety of different classesand level them up along countless possible paths, leading to an impossibly long list of options for customization. The originalPath of Exilewas generally well received, but early previews of its sequel suggest it expands on that premise in every way, making ita serious rival toDiablo 4.
Path of Exileis available now in Early Access, which players can access after making a one-time, $29.99 USD purchase. It’s currently playable on a wide variety of platforms, including PC and Xbox systems, but its plans for a future Game Pass release are uncertain.

Nor have its developers, Grinding Gear Games, announced any plans to bring the game to Game Pass at the time of its full release, whenever that happens to be. Will Path Of Exile 2 Come To Game Pass Later On?
Path Of Exile Has No Game Pass Plans, For Now
At the time of writing,Path of Exile 2’s developers have not announced any plans to bring the game to Game Pass. While it’s still possible, it doesn’t look likely at this point, and certainly not any time soon.Path of Exile 2doesn’t really need to be on Game Pass; it’ll eventually be a free-to-play game anyway, so players don’t gain anything from it being on Game Pass once it gets its full release. Appearing on the Game Pass list might drum up a little publicity forPath of Exile 2, but that’s about where the potential benefits end.
Path of Exile 2’s Steam page estimates the early access period will last at least six months, but makes it clear that this is only an educated guess.

Some games have found success in coming to Game Pass during their early access periods, but for most free-to-play games, it’s simply not necessary. As long as they’re patient, players won’t need Game Pass to accessPath of Exile 2- they’ll be able to download it for free eventually anyway.
Path of Exile II
