Through the eyes of Rebel heroCassian Andor, we get to see the earliest days of theRebel Alliance- especially in the upcomingAndorseason 2.
Because the story ofAndorseason 2 is going to lead directly into the events ofRogue One: A Star Wars Story, the movie that leads directly intoA New Hope, it’s expected that there will be plenty of connections between all these stories. Dantooine is famously mentioned by Princess Leia Organa to Grand Moff Tarkin when he’s questioning her about the location of the Rebel base, just before he gives the order for the Death Star to destroy Alderaan. Despite being quite pivotal in this scene,Dantooine has actually never been seen on-screen in live-action before. The closest it’s come is in theKnights of the Old Republicvideo games, which laid the groundwork for what the planet actually looks like, and the animated seriesStar Wars Resistance.

Cassian himself may even be the one to help her out, but we know who transports her from there.
I Think I’ve Figured Out A Plot Twist That Makes Star Wars’ Best Show Absolutely Vital To The Entire Saga
Andor season 2 might feature a plot twist that rewrites part of canon, but also makes it one of the most important shows in the entire franchise.
