Double XP Tokens are back in Black Ops 6, sort of.
Double XP Tokens from previous years were quickly added and then subsequently removed from Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 following the Season 1 update. While it seems like all is lost for your tokens, there’s still a way you can use them as much as you want in multiplayer.
After the Season 1 update went live in Black Ops 6, players were surprised to see all of their Double XP Tokens from the past two years appear on their account. Before Season 1, players only had access to the Double XP they acquired for Black Ops 6 specifically. Before we start,developer Treyarch has confirmedthat the Double XP Tokens that were removed inSeason 1will return at some point. In the meantime, though, there’s an workaround that allows you to access your tokens and use them in multiplayer just like before.
This is simply known as the “Warzone Trick” and you need to have the Warzone application installed to take advantage of it. If you have Warzone installed, follow the steps below to activate all of your previously lost Double XP Tokens in Black Ops 6:
And that’s all you have to do to activate your Double XP in Black Ops 6. Once you activate a token in Warzone, it becomes active in multiplayer or Zombies as well. This is the only way to activate all of your Double XP Tokens until Treyarch finds a way to add them back into multiplayer.
