Fortniteis now back on Android and iOS, with free exclusive rewards available to players who play on their smartphones. Android and iOS players can now install the Epic Games Store on their phones, giving them access toFortniteon the go. To celebrate, Epic has also introduced a set of four quests allowing players to earn the Katalina Character Outfit and some themed cosmetics.
One important caveat players should note before jumping to thebest landing spots on theFortniteislandfrom their smartphones is region exclusivity.Fortniteis available worldwide on Android but only in the European Union on iOS.As such, players with Apple smartphones outside the EU currently won’t be able to installFortniteon mobile and complete the Katalina quests.

There are fourFortniteMobile App Bonus Goals, all of which are fairly simple. Players may have gotten used to completing highly specific objectives, but to complete the Mobile App quests, all that’s required is earning enough XP. Here are all of the goals and the rewards players can earn:
This is actually easier than it may seem on paper, as there are lots of different quest objectives players can complete inFortnite. For example, the Kickstart set of quests awards 20,000XP each for fairly basic objectives such as visiting new locations, and there are also Weekly quests that award similar amounts of XP. As a bonus, players will still be leveling up and earning Battle Stars to spend onFortnite’sChapter 5 Season 4Battle Passat the same time.
To complete these quests, players must playFortnitenatively on their mobile devices. Progress made while streaming the game to a phone does not count. TheFortniteMobile App Bonus Goals will be live until November, so players have plenty of time to complete them.
How To Install Fortnite On Android And iOS
The process for installingFortniteon mobile is different for different platforms.
Android users can visit theFortnitewebsite, where they can download and open the Epic Games Store app install package.To install the app, they will need to allow their phone to install unknown apps (or apps from unverified sources). Once the Epic Games Store app is installed, players can login and installFortnitefrom there.
iOS users have a slightly longer process with extra requirements:
To install the Epic Games Store, iOS users can then head over to theFortnitewebsite and download the app.
A pop-up will appear, stating that the device isn’t set up to allow marketplaces by Epic Games.To get past this step, head to Settings and tap the banner that says “Allow Marketplace from Epic Games” and then “Allow.” This will allow the device to install the Epic Games Store andFortnite.

However, players who can’t currently playFortniteor access the quests on their smartphones may not need to wait long. Katalina and her themed cosmetics will also be available for purchase for all players in the future. Epic is also currently working on bringingFortniteto other markets, with releases in the UK and Japan scheduled for next year.
