Some images of Amphoreus’ main city inHonkai: Star Rail3.0, allegedly called Okhema, have leaked and despite how exciting it is to see the new destination with more details ahead of its release in mid-January 2025,the location’s design has unsettling similarities with a region in another of developer HoYoverse’s games:Genshin Impact. HoYoverse has already confirmed that Amphoreus is the next major destination in the turn-based RPG following the release of Penacony earlier this year. Aside from a selection ofAmphoreus characters inHonkai: Star Rail, little else is officially known so far.

Luckily, there have been several leaks about Amphoreus and the upcoming pieces of content thanks to the start of the Version 3.0 beta tests. A lot of the information is centered around the new playable characters: The Herta, Aglaea, and the Remembrance Trailblazer.Naturally, details about the Remembrance are also in the spotlight since this is the first new playable Path since the game’s launch in 2023. Nonetheless, there has been some attention to the new location, such as the leak about theAmphoreus chests inHonkai: Star Rail3.0, which hints at a massive region to explore.

Images Of Okhema In Honkai: Star Rail’s Amphoreus Have Leaked

The Area Is Clearly Inspired By Ancient Greek & Roman Mythologies

Among the regions listed in the leak about the treasure chests is an area called Okhema. This is expected to be the main city and largest area of the first Amphoreus maps made available in Verison 3.0. Now,a new set of leaked images has provided more insight into the design choices that bring Okhema to life. The images were obtained by the leaker known as Uncle Baita and shared in a post tagged as “Reliable” onReddit. In total, there are eight new leaked images of Okhema City inHonkai: Star Rail’s Amphoreus destination.

Honkai Star Rail 3.0 Leaks: Aglaea’s Kit Is Something Of A Mess (But I’m All For It)

The complete kit for Aglaea in Honkai: Star Rail 3.0 has allegedly leaked and, despite how confusing it may initially seem, I’m still interested.

The images show what seems like a gargantuan city with large streets and, respectively, large pieces of architecture.Amphoreus is rumored to be inspired by ancient Greek and Roman mythologies, and this is reflected by the large-scale architecture that draws out Okhema in the leaked images. In addition to the design of the city, the images also show NPCs and the previouslyleaked dinosaur mounts inHonkai: Star Rail3.0, which may be a new means of transportation across Okhema, further hinting at how large it may be. The images are exciting, but there may be a problem with Okhema.

Honkai: Star Rail’s Leaked Okhema Images Resemble Genshin Impact’s Fontaine Region

There Are Many Similarities Between The Two Games' Areas

Players going into Amphoreus without having playedGenshin Impactmay not feel affected, but those who have played HoYoverse’s action RPG up to the point they reach the Nation of Hydro may feel an uncanny resemblance between the upcoming destination and Fontaine. Many of Okhema’s elements that were revealed in the leaked images match those of Fontaine and its main city. The first and most notable aspect is the landscape. Far in the distance inHonkai: Star Rail’s Okhema, players can see dark silhouettes of tall mountains among a clear blue sky with bright white clouds.

Honkai: Star Rail 3.0 Leaks Show A Great Free Gift For Players

Leaks have pointed toward a new gift for players in Honkai: Star Rail 3.0 and one of the items listed may be better than 10 free pulls from banners.

This is the same type of view that players have upon entering Fontaine or observing the exterior of the city from a vantage point in a way that almost feels like the same place. The other notable similarity between Okhema and the Court of Fontaine is the massive design around the architecture, which includes large stone streets, as well as tall buildings with pillars. Even the vegetation seen in the leakedHonkai: Star Rail3.0 images resembles the greenery seen all across Fontaine, with conifer trees.

Even the presence of waterworks in Okhema’s leaked images, such as the massive indoor waterfall or the baths seem to come straight out of Fontaine.

There are also some pathways sustained by pillars that resemble those inRemuria inGenshin Impact. Even the lighting in Okhema and Fontaine seems somewhat similar. Of course, there are several other elements that make Okhema distinguishable from Fontaine, such as the large Atlas-like titan statue looming in the distance, as well as the NPCs themselves. A portion of the architecture seen in the images forHonkai: Star Railalso seems more inspired by Ancient Greece and Rome rather than a bit more modern like Fontaine’s France-inspired city, specifically.

It is worth noting that these images are still early renders or screenshots taken of a work in progress. There is a chance that Okhema will look a lot different from what is seen in the leaked images.Adjustments to visual assets and the location’s ambiance could make Okhema seem a lot different from Fontaine, which is the current feeling based solely on the leaks. The developer’s unspoken mission at the moment is to top the great design choices made inHonkai: Star Rail’s Penacony.

Honkai Star Rail 3.0 Leaks: The Herta’s Treasure-Finding Skill Is A Lot Better Than Originally Thought

The Herta’s Technique in Honkai: Star Rail 3.0 has now appeared in a leaked video that shows just how useful the treasure-finding skill is.

As reliable as the images may seem, they should be considered with some caution, as this is clearly a work in progress. Furthermore, the images could be fake. Nevertheless, even with the uncanny similarities between Okhema and Fontaine, all the leaks so far show that Amphoreus is building up to be one of the largest regions in the game. Hopefully, it is not only large but also one of the best destinations inHonkai: Star Railwith plenty of content to go through over the course of the game’s third year.
