According to new leaks about upcoming patches,Honkai: Star Rail2.7 may be the longest update the game has seen since launch, and that may bring extra consequences with it. At the moment, HoYoverse’s turn-based RPG is at the start of Version 2.5, an important patch that brings forth the continuation of the story arc set on the Xianzhou Luofu as the Trailblazer and their allies attend the Wardance Festival and attempt to recapture the escaped prisoner called Hoolay. There are also several new playablecharacters inHonkai: Star Rail2.5, including Feixiao, Moze, and Lingsha.
Looking at the future, however, it seems like one of the upcoming updates will last longer than usual. Whereas normal patches tend to last six weeks before the arrival of a new one,Version 2.7 may last seven weeks rather than the regular six. The information was provided by the leaker known as Sakura Haven, which was shared in a post tagged as “Questionable” onReddit. The leaker highlights thatthe information should be taken with a grain of saltas this is only based on indications rather than concrete data fromHonkai: Star Rail.

So far, the leaker has not outlined exactly what indication hints at Version 2.7 lasting longer than usual. However, this would not be necessarily surprising, even if it breaks the regular mold. The RPG has had a shorter update in the past with Version 1.4, which lasted five weeks instead of the regular six. If the most recent leak is true and the patch does last seven weeks,there may be a lot more in store forHonkai: Star Railplayers during the update’s run.
