Morgan inHigh Potentialand Morgane inHPIare similar because they tend to break the rules, dress casually, have a sense of humor, and are extremely intelligent.Each female protagonist also has a dynamic partnership with Detective Karadec, who initially disapproves of having an outsider with no police experience solving crimes. However, Karadec gets used to her because of her sharp and bright mind. Karadec’s by-the-book approach and Morgan/Morgane’s unusual methods for crime-solving sum up their odd couple partnership.

Morgan also has more emotionally vulnerable scenes when confronting victims who have lost a loved one or when she has important conversations with her daughter Ava. Nonetheless,HPIis a good replacement show to see that version of the protagonist and how Morgane has a slightly more unorthodox approach to her character and casework.
