The title of Respawn Entertainment’s nextStar Warsgame afterStar Wars Jedi: Survivorhas purportedly been revealed ahead of its official announcement. TheStar Wars Jediduology has thrilled playersacross the galaxy, combining Soulslike combat and exploration with a whollyStar Warssetting that features iconic locations from throughout the series. But with theStar Wars Jediseries coming to a close, developer Respawn is apparently looking in a new direction, and is gearing up to announce its nextStar Wars-set title.
That title isStar Wars: Zero Company, according to a new report fromMP1st, which doesn’t cite a source for this revelation. The game is expected to be officially revealed during Star Wars Celebration, happening later this month from April 18–20 in Chiba, Japan. While we know relatively little at this early stage, the newly revealed title andMP1st’s investigation into the upcoming release provide a little more context.

Everything We Know About Star Wars: Zero Company
Details Uncovered For Codenamed Project Bruno
Way back in 2023, an earlierMP1stinvestigation revealed details of one of Respawn’s ongoing projects, a game then codenamedStar Wars: Bruno. The results consisted of a series of in-engine screenshots of the game, featuring a main menu displaying an image of an R2-series droid. Further screenshots showed something completely different fromStar Wars Jedi:an isometric view of a tactical strategy game, featuring playable characters in Mandalorian armor.

Further screenshots also revealed that the game was planned to feature variable victory conditions, in at least one case requiring the player to rescue a prisoner. There was also to be a hub area that players could return to in order to gear up their characters and choose new missions. It all adds up to what sounds more like a strategy game than a Soulslike, and frankly,Zero Companyis a fitting title for something in that genre, where you might play an entire platoon instead of just one character.

It’s all but officially confirmed that Respawn is working on aStar Warsstrategy game, and ifMP1st’s reports are accurate, this could very well be it. The bio on the X (formerly Twitter) page for Bit Reactor, a team within Respawn, still saysit’s working on “a new AAA title set in the legendary Star Wars universe.“Bit Reactor’s website And, on March 14, Lucasfilm games tweeted this:
With a panel coming up at Star Wars Celebration,it certainly seems like Bit Reactor is gearing up to reveal itsStar Warsstrategy game. Only time will tell whetherZero Companyis its real title.

When Will Respawn’s Third Star Wars: Jedi Game Come Out?
Cal Kestis' Final Ride Could Still Be A Long Ways Away
Whatever Bit Reactor is working on, it certainly doesn’t sound like theplanned third entry in theStar Wars Jediseries. But when is that one finally coming out? Well, it could still be some time. We know next to nothing aboutStar Wars Jedi 3- not even its proposed title. Based on the four-year gap betweenFallen OrderandSurvivor, the third game will probably take a similar length of time to develop. That’d putthe thirdJedigame out somewhere in 2027, though I wouldn’t be surprised if it were bigger, better, and took a little longer.
Star Wars Jedi’s Timeline Hints At The Story Of Its Third Game
The Star Wars: Jedi series has a time skip trend that puts it in the perfect position to include a key moment in the history of the franchise.
Still, there’s some hope (a new hope, if you will) knowing that Respawn has a panel in store for Star Wars Celebration. There’s a non-zero chance thatRespawn could share some kind ofStar WarsJedinewsthis month. I wouldn’t get my hopes up, though. If anything, it’ll probably be a brief teaser that only includes a release year if we’re very, very lucky. I expect the direct sequel toStar Wars Jedi: Survivoris still a ways off, but Respawn’s upcoming strategy game could be enough to hold me over.
