TheVoltronmovie starring Henry Cavill has officially begun filming, with the start of production celebrated by a new behind-the-scenes photo. Based on the classic animated series that features a team of space pilots whose robots join together to create the show’s titular super robot, plans for a live-action adaptation of the property have been in place as far back as 2005. However, after languishing in development and passing through multiple hands, the long-anticipated project found fresh life when a new attempt was announced in 2022 and sparked a bidding war from rival studios, ultimately landing at Amazon MGM Studios.
