Leverage: Redemptionstar Aldis Hodge clarifies his return as Alec Hardison in season 3. After a bit of an absence from audiences, with the most recent episode of the crime drama revival airing in January 2023,Leverage: Redemptionseason 3is set to debut on Prime Video in 2025 after moving from Amazon’s ad-supported Freevee streaming service. Althoughthe primary cast is all expected to return for the upcoming installment, there have been questions about how much Hodge will be involved.

In recent comments toTVLine, Hodge clarified that even though he will reprise the role of Hardison, viewers might not get to see too much of the skilled hacker. Hodge has been making the rounds, promoting his new Prime Video showCross, which is based on the James Patterson novels, and he says thathe will not be appearing too much inLeverage: Redemptionseason because of his work onCrossseason 2:

Although it has long been known that Hodge will appear in some capacity, the extent of his involvement has remained in question given his billing as a special guest star and involvement in other projects.

Although the team ostensibly has a plan to bring him back home, the latest updatemight mean thatHardison will remain away from Eartha little longer. On the whole, so far, Hardison has appeared in eight episodes of the revival — three in season 1 and five in season 2.
