During an interview withScreen Rant, HoYoverse confirmed that while new heroes Mualani, Kinich, and Kachina may have access to the flashiest Saurians in Natlan,every other character will be able to use similar beasts to move around the world. Of course, there is a catch: The Saurians other characters transform into get around with “a little more clunk and a little less flair.” Given that Mualani, Kinich, and Kachina are the three main Natlan, characters, it stands to reason that their Saurians would have more style but at least free-to-play users won’t be left behind.

The developer stated thatthe aforementioned Saurians will be a touch slower than the three new heroes and combat will likely be"slightly more difficult.“While that may be disheartening to hear for some, HoYoverse reassured free-to-play users thatthere should be “no significant advantage to be gained from having 5-star characters"whencompared to F2P Saurians.
When it comes to whatfans can expect fromGenshin Impact5.0, early impressions have been extremely positive. During ScreenRant’s time with the game,the expansion shone through as an example of how far the game has grown since its release in 2020and the actual world design is extremely pretty. Natlan is shaping up to be one ofGenshin’s most exciting updates yet which makes the wait for its arrival all the more frustrating.
