TheGenshin Impact5.1 livestream’s date and time can be guessed based on the game’s regular six-week schedule and there is already a fair share of content that is known to possibly appear during the special event. Version 5.1 will be the next major patch in HoYoverse’s RPG and it will continue the story arc set in Natlan, initiated with the Version 5.0 update. While the nature of the upcoming content has not yet been revealed or teased by the developer, aside from confirmation of the playable version ofXilonen inGenshin Impact, several details about Version 5.1 have leaked.

There have been leaks about Xilonen’s gameplay kit, for example, which should be confirmed during the Version 5.1 livestream. The special event should also present which character banner reruns will be featured throughout the patch. Spectators can expect a teaser for the next few developments in the Natlan story arc and, as usual, the limited-time events and the rewards they will be able to claim by participating in them. It should not take too long for the Version 5.1 livestream to be confirmed and those expecting to see newNatlan characters inGenshin Impactshouldn’t miss out.

Genshin Impact 5.1 Livestream - Date & Time

The Update Should Follow The Game’s Schedule

The date and time of the Version 5.1 livestream can be guessed before its official announcement thanks to the game’s regular schedule. Patches are usually spread six weeks across and, with Version 5.0 arriving on August 28, Version 5.1 is expected to arrive on October 9. Because livestreams tend to occur two weeks prior to the patch’s release, on Fridays, it is likely thattheGenshin Impact5.1 livestream will happen on September 27 in the morning.

What To Expect From Genshin Impact 5.1 Livestream - New Characters & Leaked Banners

Xilonen Will Make Her Debut As A Playable Character

As was previously mentioned, Xilonen has been confirmed to be the new Natlan character being introduced in Version 5.1.The Geo character is rumored to be a 5-star support unit capable of providing healing and inflicting debuffs on opponents, thus making them more susceptible to damage from the rest of the player’s team. Xilonen is rumored to be a sword user and, as such, her regular attacks should deal Physical DMG rather than Geo DMG. TheXilonen leaks inGenshin Impact5.1indicate she will be capable of decreasing enemies’ Elemental Resistances via her Skill.

As seen in leaks, the usage of her Skill creates Source Samples, and this should affect Xilonen’s Elemental Burst. According to the leaks, her Burst deals an initial instance of AoE Geo DMG. If she has at least two Source Samples that have undergone Elemental Conversion, Xilonen can heal nearby active characters based on her DEF and, if she has less than two Source Samples, she deals two extra instances of AoE Geo DMG.The leaks mention that Xilonen’s attacks and healing scale solely off her DEF stat, which should make her much easier to build.

TheGenshin Impact5.1 banner leaksindicate that Xilonen will make her debut in Phase 1 banners, which should last from October 9 to October 29. So far, the rumors are that the period will also feature a rerun for Chiori, the latest 5-star Geo character. The Inazuman stylist who lives in Fontaine is a Geo sub-DPS capable of helping deal Elemental damage while off the field and, because of her ability to trigger Crystallize,Chiori is arguably the best sub-DPS for team comps led by Navia, for example.

The Phase 2 banners, according to the leaks, will be reruns for Nahida and Hu Tao. Nahida is well-established as the best Dendro character in the game, capable of being a powerful off-field sub-DPS and an excellent support unit for the rest of the team. Hu Tao, on the other hand, is a powerful Pyro DPS character. While her value has somewhat decreased with the release of other powerful Pyro characters, like Arlecchino inGenshin Impact, Hu Tao is still a strong unit to have in combat, especially due to how much damage she can inflict via her HP-loss mechanic.

Phase 2 banners should run between October 29 and November 19.

It is worth noting that, while Xilonen’s release is already confirmed, the rerun units mentioned in the leaks are still highly subject to change. After the confirmation in the livestream, the reruns should not be altered, but before the official event is showcased,HoYoverse may alter the units that will reappear in banners. Furthermore, the developer could also change the order in which characters appear in banner Phases.

What To Expect From Genshin Impact 5.0 Livestream - Story Updates & Events

New Archon Quests Will Continue The Natlan Story

Though new characters and banners tend to be the highlight of most livestreams, the special event should also be a stage to showcase the other playable pieces of content arriving with Version 5.1. No spoilers should be presented during the livestream, but it is likely thata trailer highlighting some parts of the upcoming quests will appear. The story should pick up where Version 5.0’s Archon Quests ended, with Mavuika starting to assemble heroes to face the Abyss. There may be astory twist inGenshin Impact5.1, though that will probably not appear nor be teased in the livestream.

In addition to that, there may be new enemies, such as the leaked Chasmic Mimiflora and the Secret Source Automaton: Configuration Device world boss, both of which should prove to be a challenge in case players go in with a faulty team comp. Despite the addition of new enemies, rumors indicatethere will not be a new Natlan area to explore other than what is already available– even so, players may want to thoroughly explore the zones so as to notlose hundreds of Primogems inGenshin Impact5.1, as one leak has teased.

The limited-time events in the patch have not been leaked too abundantly, butthere are rumors of an update to the Imaginarium Theater with new rewards for Zhongli and Keqing players, as well as the return of Liben via the Marvelous Merchandise event. Travelers may also make a return to Sumeru for the Sabzeruz Festival, according to leaks. All these limited-time events will likely be described in detail during the Version 5.1 livestream.

Genshin Impact 5.3 Leaks Say Mavuika Is Finally Breaking A Four-Year Trend

The first leaks about Mavuika’s skills in Genshin Impact 5.3 have emerged and she may finally end a character’s four-year reign in a team comp role.

The game entered Natlan with a strong start, not only in terms of revolutionary playable characters and meaningful story quests but also great limited-time events that helped ease the transition into the Nation of Pyro. As the title continues to expand, more content should help make Natlan a better place to play through, especially with the new characters. While some Snezhnaya leaks are starting to emerge, players should focus onGenshin Impact5.1 and make the best of the content that will be presented in the upcoming livestream.
