We learned an awful lot about the characters and the way they interact and talk with each other and the exciting possibilities for different encounters between characters who maybe haven’t met each other yet. But we also figured out how to make all the monsters, and there aremore monsters, more environments, more factionsthat we are currently designing and building right now to begin production quite soon. So we’re really excited.

It’s the same feeling I had when “Batman Begins” went into the world. I had worked on that for a little while with my brother and then written the script for “The Dark Knight” for him. And I just thought, ‘We built this thing. Let’s see what it can do.’ And that’s the same feeling we have right now. We’ve built this thing, and in Season 2, we’re going to find out what it could do.

Season 2 Will Introduce A Key Character & Location From The Games

TheacclaimedFalloutseason 1had the difficult job of introducing the world of the show to viewers who weren’t familiar with the games. The positive response would suggest that the Prime Video series succeeded, and season 1’s laying of the groundwork will now allow for some bigger swings in season 2. While few story details have been revealed regarding the show’s sophomore outing, the final moments of season 1 provide a fairly strong tease regarding what’s to come.

TheFalloutseason 1 finalesees Lucy, after learning the dark truth about her father, Hank (Kyle MachLachlan), head off into the Wasteland with The Ghoul (Walton Goggins). This new team is on a mission to find The Ghoul’s wife and daughter, who may still be alive, as well as other villainous Vault-Tec leaders. It’s Hank’s final scene, however, that features the most concrete hint regarding new elements to come, asMacLachlan’s character is seen heading toward New Vegas, a key location from the games.

The introduction of New Vegas means that some iconic characters from the video games are likely on the way as well, andRobert House, aka Mr. House, is confirmed to join theFalloutcast of characters in season 2. In the games, Mr. House serves as the mysterious leader of New Vegas, and he does make a brief cameo in season 1, as played by Rafi Silver. With production onFalloutseason 2 now not far off, it’s likely that more details about the Prime Video show’s sophomore outing will be revealed in the coming months.
