Episode #9 Sees Natsu and the Rest Clash Against the Fairy Tail Members Under the White Mage’s Power

Episode #9 ofFairy Tail: 100 Years Questtakes off with Natsu, Lucy, Erza, and Happy come face to face with the members ofFairy Tail who have been “dyed white” by the White Mage and are under her complete control, following her every order. Jellal is also among the guild members which surprises Erza. The White Mage then reveals herself, claiming that she alsoplans to “whiteout” the Wood God Dragon Aldoroneventually, but her first priority is to capture the rest of Fairy Tail’swizards, who are Natsu and his team.

Displeased that Mirajane was unable to lure out Natsu’s entire team, the White Mage orders Elfman and Lisanna to punish her, much to Lucy and the rest’s horror. Meanwhile, Juvia explains to Gray and Wendy that theWhite Mage is controlling everyone in Fairy Tailand that she came to Guiltina to warn Gray, Natsu, and the rest with the help of Touka, the White Mage’s alter ego. Juvia also reveals that the White Mage can kill the members of Fairy Tail at any moment.

Back at the church, the White Mage begins stealing magical energy from Natsu and the rest but Gray and Wendy intervene in time and the White Mage allows the group to escape. Juvia then explains to the rest that theWhite Mage has erased the entire guild’s magical energy,which she refers to as dyeing them white. Juvia also reveals that Touka was able to set her free without the White Mage noticing and that the latter is plotting to dye all of the God Dragons white.

The White Mage’s original plan involved dyeingFairy Tailwhite and then killing them all and using Mercphobia to “whiteout” the other God Dragons but since Mercphobia was defeated, she altered her plans and decided to use Fairy Tail for the purpose instead. Just then, the White Mage and Fairy Tail destroy a mysterious orb, causing an unexpected earthquake. TheWhite Mage orders the members of Fairy Tail to destroy the remaining four orbson different parts of Aldoron’s body as part of her plan. This order is relayed to Juvia through Touka, informing Natsu and the rest of the White Mage’s plan.

Natsu and the rest decide to intercept their fellow guildmates at these locations with the goal being to knock them unconscious so that Wendy can use her magic to try and free them from the White Mage’s control. Thus, a battle royale begins withNatsu clashing against Gajeel, Gray and Juvia encountering the Thunder Legion, and Lucy facing off against the Strauss siblings with Loke and Virgo. The episode ends with Lucy unlocking a new transformation, mixing two of her star dresses to face Lisanna.
