WARNING: Contains Potential Spoilers for Two-Face #1 !

The first issue ofTwo-Face’snew solo series has dropped, and with it comes one of the Gotham Rogue’s best lines—one so good, it deserves a live-action debut in Matt Reeves’The Batman Part II. This line is undeniably badass, but what makes it especially notable is just how perfectly it captures Two-Face’s essence.

What makes this moment even more fun is how it carries the same energy as the iconic “Call An Ambulance! But Not For Me” vine.

Two-Face #1 Falcone 1-1

Two-Face#1—by Christian Ward, Fabio Veras, Ivan Plascencia, and Hassan Otsmane-Elhaou—reigns inHarvey Dent’s return to his lawyer roots, but with a twist. Instead of stepping back into his former role as Gotham’s District Attorney, Harvey now takes on the conflicts of Gotham’s most dangerous criminals in the White Church, an underworld court where justice is served in its own brutal form.

During Harvey’s defense of Victor Zsasz, a violent altercation erupts, leading toTwo-Face delivering one of his most brutal and iconic lines to date while taking down Jimmy Falcone in a savage beatdown.

Harvey Dent Drops His Most Perfect Quote in Two-Face #1 (2024)

Harvey Dent’sTwo-FaceLine Has the Same Energy as“Call An Ambulance! But Not For Me”

After Harvey proves that Jimmy Falcone is the true murderer and framed Victor Zsasz, Falcone attacks him, plunging the courtroom into chaos. As the two men fight,Harvey warns,“Careful, Jimmy. You’re making him angry,”to which Falcone responds, “Who?!”Two-Face answers with a brutal headbutt to Falcone’s nose, shouting,“ME!”This exchange is pure badassery, perfectly capturing the essence of Two-Face. The line is uniquely his, given that it is a nod to Harvey’s conflicting personalities. Hence, it is a line that would only make sense coming from him. The switch from Harvey to Two-Face is epic, making this line truly unforgettable.

What makes this moment even more fun is howit carries the same energy as the iconic“Call An Ambulance! But Not For Me”vine. Both subvert expectations, leading to a badass reveal. In the vine, an old man, seemingly on the verge of a heart attack, screams for an ambulance—only to pull out a gun on his attacker and declare,“But not for me,”implying the robber is the one who needs medical attention. Similarly, inTwo-Face#1, the line misleads the audience into thinking someone else is angry, only for Harvey to reveal it’s his“bad half”just before he breaks Falcone’s nose in a scene that’s pure badass brilliance.
