Months after the show’s first season went off the air, the latest news confirms thatEnglish Teacherseason 2 has been renewed. This update comes as something of a surprise considering the recent sexual misconduct allegations against series creator and star Brian Jordan Alvarez. FX hasn’t addressed the allegations, and Alvarez' lawyer vehemently denies the claims. FX has opted to continue the series, butit remains to be seen how long it can last while clouded by such serious allegations.
