Dota 2 Patch 7.38c overview
Dire receives helpful safe lane buff
Dire safe lanes will be able to breathe a little easier in 7.38c as Valve has opted to adjust the position of the top lane tier one tower. It’s now slightly closer to the Dire base, while creep pathing has been adjusted so that it meets closer to the tower.
This gives a little more room for the Dire safe lane to farm, and while Radiant creep blocking can alter this still in the early game, the goal is to give Dire carries a safer avenue to farm.

Other map changes have also arrived such as extra tree lines near safe lane towers, the move of ward cliffs closer to the lane, and a crucial update to the location of the top river ramp leading to the Roshan pit.
Further adjustments see Abaddon, Lifestealer nerfed again
We’ve got another round of buffs and nerfs for over two dozen heroes. Once again it’s Abaddon and Lifestealer who have copped nerfs with the pair continuing to dominate despite7.38b attemptsto bring them back in line.
Ancient Apparition is also getting adjusted back with the support among the most popular picks in the pro scene. On the flip side, several unwanted heroes have received slight buffs. Batrider’s Lasso now can’t be interrupted by select other abilities, while Kunkka’s Tidebringer does significantly more damage.
