InOriginal Sinepisode 3, Dexter began using the alias Patrick Bateman, which is the name of the fictional serial killer inAmerican Psycho. He had Masuka (Alex Shimizu) print him a fake ID with the name, and he also used it with Tony Ferrer, his second victim.Patrick Bateman is also the name Dexter used to circumvent the DEA’s restrictions on the distribution of M99 in the original series, which seems to suggest thatOriginal Sinwill stick with the original drug.
