The brand-new “Kell’s Fall” mission inDestiny 2has a pretty neat puzzle for Guardians to figure out; play the right notes on the organ in the Bailey to explore all the secrets the mission has in store. The organ itself is front-and-center as players begin the mission, but without knowing what to do with its mysterious notes, there’s no telling the actual function of the instrument. The organ starts out with only a few notes available, soplayers will need to run the mission a few times to fully unlock it.
Following the questline received from Eido after launching the Act 3 update, players have to run the “Kell’s Fall” mission three times, picking up the catalyst quests as you go.If you did pick up all four catalyst quests, you should run the mission on Expert the third time you run it,which will allow you to fully upgrade Slayer’s Fang on your final run through the mission. The last run should also see the organ fully upgraded as well, allowing you to input all eight codes in the same run.

All ‘Kell’s Fall’ Organ Puzzle Codes
Each Code Opens A New Door In The Lair
The organ is inscribed with Eliksni notes, and playing it is difficult without any sheet music. It works similarly to themusic puzzle in “Captive Memory"from Act 2. Thankfully, there are codes scattered around the mission that guide players. For ease of reading, the nodes on the organ can be numbered one through 13, left to right. Here is each code currently discovered for the organ, as well as its effect and where it can be found for those curious Guardians:
1-8-1-9

“You’ve made a Terrible Mistake.”
2-11-1-10-7-6

Opens a door in the Right Bailey that rewards the second Intrinsic Frame. (You begin with Intrinsic Frame one)
On a wall along the right-hand path away from the organ.
“Ancient gears grinding deep within the fortress.”
1-4-11-1-4-10
Opens a new door in the Mirror Gallery, in the room with the large tree in the center, rewarding Intrinsic Frame three.
On the left-hand path away from the organ, the order of symbols is determined by the number of objects next to each symbol.
“Barrier giving way.”
1-8-1-6
Opens one of the two doors in the room with the rally banner for the second encounter, which reveals the fourth and final Intrinsic Frame.
Before beginning the second encounter in the Sanctum, light three braziers (with one code symbol each next to them) to open a door behind the rally banner, last piece of the code will be there.
“Air stirring in a forgotten passage.”
1-8-4-11-1-6-4-10
Opens a secret door which reveals Fikrul’s shrine to Uldren.
In the Undercroft, you can find symbols scattered around. Input them in order.
“Yearning for a father.”
10-4-6-1-11-4-8-1
Triggers the Organist’s boss fight, which will be required for the final Act 3 fieldwork task.
1-8-1-11-9
“What have you done?”
4-7-9-6-2-6-7-1
Savathuun laughs
This code is a bit trickier, and is actually Savathuun’s music motif.
N/A
These codes reveal most, if not all, the secrets of the “Kell’s Fall” mission and can all be inputted in the same run.I ran the mission on Expert the third time and completed all of my Intrinsic Frame upgrades and catalyst quests all in the same run, which is highly recommended, so you don’t have to run it more than a few times. While repeating the same mission over and over can get annoying, this third run should be your last. After entering all the codes, make sure to pick up each Intrinsic upgrade as you run.
Obtaining all the catalysts for Slayer’s Fang is, thankfully, much easier than it was forgetting the Ice Breaker.
How To Get The Intrinsic Upgrades
Enter The Code, Then Go Through The Newly-Opened Door
Simply put,the Intrinsic Frame upgrades can be found behind various locked doors within Fikrul’s Fortress. Behind these doors are various small, glowing items that players can interact with to pick up:a knife, a bottle, and an urn. Picking up these items will give you Intrinsic upgrades.
Intrinsic Frame II
To find this frame, enter the code at the organ, then head back to where you found the code to find a new door has opened. Go through this door and pick up the glowing potion bottle to get Intrinsic Frame II. This is by far the simplest of the three frames to pick up, although the others shouldn’t be too difficult.
Intrinsic Frame III
The third Frame is found the first time you enter the alternate dimension Mirror Gallery, given you entered the code at the organ earlier in your run. After clearing out the enemies, find a door that has opened in the back left of the room with the large tree. Pick up the knife there to get Intrinsic Frame III.
Intrinsic Frame IV
The final Intrinsic Frame can be found before you begin the encounter in the Sanctum, as long as you input its code into the organ at the beginning of your run. Before breaking the mirror to enter the Sanctum, find and light three braziers that are scattered around the area. After doing so, you’ll get a notification that a door has opened elsewhere in the fortress.
Return to the room with the rally banner and find the newly-opened door.As long as you entered the code earlier, both of the doors here should be open, revealing another small room. In this room, find the urn next to the table and pick it up. This will give you Intrinsic Frame IV, the final Frame for Slayer’s Fang.
If players enter the code found in the final room of the mission, they’ll be able to craft one of the few Exotic tonicsfound in Eido’s recipe book.
Despite the repetitiveness of having to run the mission three times and talk to the same three vendors over and over again, the mission itself is relatively satisfying to complete. After figuring out each of its puzzles, guardians will be the proud owners of one of the cooler shotguns thatDestiny 2has gotten in recent updates, plus all of its upgrades to boot. Now, players will be prepared to face whatever enemy of the Light pops up next.
