To get back at the girls, Freddie (Nathan Kress) hires an incompetent but conventionally attractive assistant of his own, Ashley (Teresa Castillo). After enough miscues, the trio accept that they should just run the show. Cort is a very funny character whose indifference to how hard he’s making Freddie’s job feels like something taken right from the set of the show. Surely there were some unqualified people on the set ofiCarlymaking life harder for the crew. Booko is perfectly dopey, but with his winning smile, it’s not hard to see why Sam and Carly kept him around.
