Call Of Duty: Warzone Season 1 Maps & Modes
Returning Options & A New Map
The brand-new map forWarzoneSeason 1 is Area 99, which ties into the lore of theclassicCall of Dutymap Nuketown. Like the infamous Area 51, Area 99 is a top-secret government testing site in Nevada, although the focus here is on radiation. The map contains everything from an undergound bunker to the factory that produced the buildings found in Nuketown. Area 99 is likely full of Easter eggs for long-timeCall of Dutyfans, but it also looks primed to be more than a nostalgia trip.

Black Ops 6 Features In Call Of Duty: Warzone Season 1
Omnimovement & More Come To Warzone
The biggest new combat feature inWarzoneSeason 1 isBlack Ops 6’s omnimovement, which lets players sprint, slide, and dive in any direction. Although it’s still possible to play the game in a generally traditional manner, taking full advantage of omnimovement can open up new opportunities to dodge enemy bullets and catch them by surprise. In theory, it can be highly tactical, but it can also simply throw a little more chaos into the mix.

Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile Review: “Greed Gets The Better Of Gameplay”
Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile is an average shooter hampered by technical issues and an extremely greedy monetization model that is hard to overlook.
Warzone Mobilealso getting UI and menu changes. Without the clear template that carries over betweenBlack Ops 6and the PC/console version ofWarzone, however, those may not look quite as familiar as the updates on PC and console will. The end goal, however, is to synchronize all versions of the gameas closely as possible.

Black Ops 6Season 1 is bringing some of the biggest changes toWarzonesince the release ofWarzone 2.0, so it’s definitely not the time for any dedicated players to take a break. Mastering omnimovement should be plenty of fun on its own, to say nothing of all the new content additions and progression goals. Things might not be quite as immediately exciting on the mobile front, but there’s still plenty to look forward to in Season 1 forCall of Duty: Warzoneplayers across any platform.
