Ahsoka Tanoactress Ashley Eckstein shared beautifulStar Warsart of Ahsoka and the convor Morai fromStar Wars: The Clone Wars. SinceThe Clone Wars, Ahsoka has become one ofStar Wars’best characters. Not only was she Anakin Skywalker’s Padawan, but also, she was one ofthe survivors of Order 66, and she carried on the legacy of the Jedi. Ahsoka also recently debuted in her own show,Ahsoka, in which she embraced the life of a Jedi and donned the ‘Ahsoka the White’ outfit. This history and this art reflect Ahsoka’s nature and role inStar Wars.
Ahsoka Tano actress Ashley Eckstein, who voiced Ahsoka inThe Clone Wars,Star Wars Rebels, and evenStar Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, shared beautifulStar Warsart on her official Instagram account, ashleyeckstein. The art, created by licensed Lucasfilm artistbattu_mando_art, depicts Ahsoka Tano fromThe Clone Warsseemingly tumbling down as the convor Morai looks on from above her.

In addition to the art,Eckstein shared a lovely message about the importance of mental health, stating,“We need to treat our mind just like any other organ in our body"and linking to resources for those who are struggling.
What Ahsoka And Morai Symbolize In Star Wars
The art depicting Ahsoka and Morai together really is perfectly coupled with Eckstein’s message. InThe Clone Wars, Morai was introduced duringthe Mortis Godsarc, in which Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, and Ahsoka crash-landed on the planet Mortis and met the three gods themselves. The Father, the Son, and the Daughter represented balance in the Force, the dark side, and the light side, respectively. Sadly, during this arc, the Son killed both Ahsoka and the Daughter. It was only because the Daughter gave her life to Ahsoka that she lived.
Morai Explained: Ahsoka’s White Bird Species & Deep Star Wars Lore
Ahsoka’s old friend Morai returns to Star Wars in Ahsoka episode 8. Here’s what that means for Ahsoka and how it connects to Star Wars lore.
From then on, Morai watched over Ahsoka, and Ahsoka even said that she owed Morai her life, raising questions about whether the convor was somehow the embodiment of the Daughter (however, it isn’t clear how Ahsoka would know that, as the trio had their memory wiped upon leaving Mortis). Whether Ahsoka remembers this arc or not, though, the symbolism remains the same. Following Ahsoka’s near-death experience on Mortis,Ahsoka and Morai represent re-birth, perseverance, and hope inStar Wars—themes perfect for Eckstein’s post about mental health.
Ahsoka Is The Perfect Character To Represent This Message
Even outside the Morai/Mortis arc,Ahsoka Tano is arguably the best character to represent Ashley Eckstein’s message of hope, and that isn’t only because Eckstein played her. Ahsoka endured a series of brutal events, yet she never faltered or drew closer to the dark. Before Order 66, Ahsoka had already experienced trauma and heartbreak, having been falsely accused of murder, cast off by the Jedi, and in danger of wrongful execution. She then left the only home she’d ever known and cut herself off from Anakin, who had been like a brother to her.
Given all of this happened when Ahsoka was still a teenager, her fortitude and strength are clear. Yes, manyStar Warscharacters have suffered, but Ahsoka suffered so much so young, yet she remains one of the kindest and most compassionate characters in the franchise. Truly, theAhsoka Tanoart shared by Ashley Eckstein on Instagram is a perfect representation of the hope this character symbolizes inStar Wars.
