Despite the fact that theBacheloretteseason 21 producers made a big deal out of Jenn being the first Asian American franchise lead, they didn’t honor her history-making role because they only cast one fully Asian American man, Thomas Nguyen. This wouldn’t have been a problem if Jenn had been fine with it, but she wasn’t. In an interview withGlamour,Jenn admitted that she wished that there were more men in her cast who came from her same culture and background.

Even worse, right before he exited the show, he gave Jenn a cryptic warning that some of the men weren’t ready for an engagement, but he refused to give her names. Aaron appeared to be cast on the show only to create drama, and it seemed clear that he had no intention of getting engaged to Jenn in the end.Hopefully, Grant’s season won’t have any producer plants.
