However, while they all look suitably opulent and gold-plated,there are a handful that stand out above the rest as being truly excellent.

6Tactical Armor - Relic Primus

The Armor Of A Decorated War Hero

There are several amazing armor sets within the Tactical Class inSpace Marine 2, and while the Relic Primus isn’t the best, it comes in a very close second. The red and white cords across the chestplate (at least for Ultramarine users), are striking and complement the gold-accented paulrons extremely well. Similarly, the half tabard that stretches from the belt is covered in gorgeous detail and is a stand-out feature for this set.

How Many Missions Are In Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is divided into story and side missions (Operations). Here’s how they add up, and what’s planned for the future.

By far the coolest aspect of the armor is the crest on top of the helmet. This, accompanied by the laurel wreath around the helmet, makes this armor set feel very reminiscent of traditional Roman armor, from which the Adeptus Astartes take a lot of inspiration. It’s an undeniably cool armor set inWarhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, only just beaten by a slightly superior one.

5Bulwark Armor - Relic Primus

The Perfect Armor For Bane Cosplayers

While the majority of the Bulwark Class armor sets are cloth-bound inSpace Marine 2,the Relic Primus set forgoes much of the cloth in favor of showing off its bold armor. The white outstretched eagle (which will be a different color for other Chapters) on the pauldron is particularly striking, as are the many small details covering the armor from head to toe, such as the decorative shield on the chestplate. Furthermore, the medieval design of the helmet somehow works perfectly with the Bane-esque rebreather.

Fortunately, the Relic Primus armor set still retains its tabard, which stretches from beneath the chestplate to the Space Marine’s feet. It’s adorned with purity seals and other decorative items, which help make it stand out. This is a gorgeous design for the Bulwark Class inWarhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, and a set well worth unlocking.

4Sniper Armor - Relic Primus

A Visor And Robot Arm Combo

The Relic Primus armor set for the Sniper Class inSpace Marine 2brings together the best aspects of the Sniper and Vanguard classesto offer a lightweight, slightly more nimble, Space Marine. The Relic Primus set gives players a camouflaged cape that covers the pauldrons as well as the mesh abdomen plating, giving the set an overall more agile appearance. Additionally, the robotic armor and visor help further sell the tactical look.

While it isn’t the best Sniper armor set in all ofSpace Marine 2, it’s certainly an impressive one.Much like the other sets, there are so many amazing details that make it stand out, and it also borrows some of the best elements from across all the sets. Fortunately, more armor for this class and others are coming, as is detailed inSpace Marine 2’scomprehensive roadmap.

3Sniper Armor - Relic Secundus

The Bulkiest Stealth Armor Imaginable

The Relic Secundus armor for the Sniper Class inWarhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2has to be the most imposing stealth armor in the game. The combination of the hooded camouflaged cloak with the Sam Fisher-esque goggles gives the Space Marine wearing it an intimidating look, like they’re about to bash some Tyranid heads in. This is further helped by the ammo belts across both the chestplate and wrist.

Is Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 On Xbox Game Pass?

Warhammer 40k: Space Marine 2 is a highly anticipated sequel releasing over a decade after the first game - but will it be on Xbox Game Pass?

While perhaps not the most efficient appearance for stealth (not that Space Marines are particularly known for doing that), it still looks incredible. The Relic Secundus armor set inSpace Marine 2is the best Sniper Class armor, as it combines the best elements from across all of them. It simply has no comparison in its class.

2Tactical Armor - Relic Secundus

Futuristic Roman Centurion Armor

The Relic Secundus armor set for the Tactical Class inSpace Marine 2feels like an upgraded version of the Relic Primus version. The crest is now sideways, as if to say this Space Marine isn’t messing around, and its helmet is gold-plated (at least the Ultramarine version is). Additionally, it features a red sash across the front and further intricate details adorn each pauldron.

This is by far the best armor for the Tactical Class, which is perfect for players who believe it is thebest class for them in Space Marine 2. The chainmail half tabard and decorated greaves further help sell the overall look. This is the ultimate futuristic Roman centurion look, which is perfect for those looking to command the battlefield.

The Armor Of Death Incarnate

By far the coolest armor in all ofSpace Marine 2is the Artificer Secundus armor set for the Bulwark Class. This quite literally makes the Space Marine look like Death itself, thanks to its hooded cloak that covers a skull-esque helmet, and cloth-covered armor. This is a terrifying set of armor, one that perfectly encapsulates the fear instilled into the hearts of a Space Marine’s enemies.

There are plenty of great smaller details on this armor set that make it stand out, such as the chain across the chestplate and the robotic arm. It all comes together to create one impressive armor set that players will definitely want to unlock. Fortunately, if this one doesn’t appeal, there are plenty of other amazing armor sets available inWarhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2.
