Buying items inAnimal Crossing: New Horizonscan be a lot of fun for decorating the island or player’s home, giving gifts to villagers, and just trying to collect everything there is. The Nook Shopping in-game app includes some items that are always available, but also has a seasonal tab with a rotating selection of items that cannot be purchased anywhere else. These limited-time wares can include some fun and unique treasures, although sometimes they also have a hefty price tag associated with them, so players will want to make sure they have plenty of bells.

While many of the furniture items inACNHare merely decorative and not functional, quite a few of these special seasonal purchases can be interacted with in some way, even if only by small means, with simple animations occurring. Even the Aurora Wallpaper casts a beautiful glowing effect when the lights are turned off in a home. The seasonal Nook Shopping menu has a surprisingly large number of things that rotate in and out throughout the year, but none of these items stick around long, so players should check the app regularlyto see what is offered.
