There are over 200 cards already available for players to collect and use inPokémon TCG Pocket, withPsychic-types proving to be one of the most powerful. While the main aim is to collect all the cards on offer, trainers can battle against the AI, friends, and random players from across the world to earn rewards. This is the only way to gain XP regularly and level up beyond logging in and opening your daily packs.
Like in other games in thePokémonseries, some cards are much more useful in battles than others.Rental decks are available inPokemon TCG Pocketfor players who are first starting to help them gain a handle on building decks. However, Psychic-type themed decks aredominating the online meta so far. This type traditionally has more special abilities, which can affect opposition cards on top of standard attacks, which you can use every turn. Here are the current 10 Best Psychic-type Cards To Use InPokémon TCG Pocket.

10Swoobat
Lots Of Damage Quickly
While not as powerful as those higher up the list,Swoobat is a good mid-stage card that can quickly do notable damage at a low cost. It can quickly be evolved, and its Heart Stamp attack only costs two energy cards, so if you have it sat on the bench, it can quickly be brought in and knock out a lot of bases Pokémon in one hit. It also only costs one energy to retreat, so it can be used to quickly get in and have one attack before coming back out of the firing line.

Stage 1
Attack 1
Heart Stamp - Damage 60 - 1 Psychic and 1 Colorless energy
9Clefable
A Fast Starter That Packs A Punch
Clefable will be overlooked by a lot of players but can be extremely effective at the start of matches. Like Rapidash in Fire decks,Clefable can be used while you build up the energy on more powerful Pokémon on your benchinPokémon TCG Pocket. Clefairy and its evolved form Clefable only requires one energy to attack.
Pokémon TCG Pocket: Best Darkness-Type Deck (& How To Build It)
Darkness-type decks are less commonly used in Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket. Though the best Darkness-type deck in the game will destroy opponents.
The evolved form, Magical Shot, deals 40 damage to your opponent, and I have found this incredibly effective lead Pokémon. This means that by your second turn, you have the potential to KO the most basic Pokémon, which will give you an early point and disrupt your opponents' game plan.Clefable is also bulky with 100 HP, allowing you to withstand all but the strongest attacks.

100
Magical Shot - Damage 40 - 1 Psychic energy

1 Colorless energy
8Jynx
A Potential Late Game Powerhouse
Jynx is a great option to have in your deck for a surprise end game Pokémon to finish off opponents. While its only attack Psychic initially does 30 damage, it has a lot of potential. The attack does another 20 damage for each energy the opponent’s active Pokémon has on it. This means if it has four energy with it, Jynx’s attack will deal 110 damage. It’s a great option on the benchas a backup that can strike at the right moment.
80

N/A
Psychic - Damage 30+ - 1 Psychic and 1 Colorless energy - (This attack does 20 more damage for each Energy attached to your opponent’s Active Pokémon.
7Mr. Mime
The Best Defensive Psychic
Another that many players are currently overlooking is fellow Generation One Pokémon Mr Mime. While most players don’t think about defense inPokémon TCG Pocket, Mr. Mime is a great option to keep the opposition on the back foot while you build up the energy on your deck’s most powerful Psychic-types.
Barrier Attack - Damage 30 - 1 Psychic and 1 Colorless energy - (During your opponent’s next turn, this Pokemon takes - 20 damage from attacks.

Retreat Cost
Its only attack, Barrier Attack, does 30 damage but limits its own damage by 20 on the next turn. This means that even with only 80 HP, it can take several turns to KO it, stalling the opposition. It doesn’t need to be evolved and can be recalled easily at any point at the cost of only one energy retreat.
6Hypno
Put Your Opponent To Sleep
In addition to attacks, some Pokémon also have special abilities, including a number that can be played as soon as the card is on the bench or in the active slot. This includes Hypno, making him extremely powerful. Sleep Pendulum can be activated while on the bench, giving you the potential to put an opponent to sleep on every turn.
Ability
Sleep Pendulum - Once, during your turn, you may flip a coin. If heads, your opponent’s Active Pokémon is now Asleep.
Psypunch - Damage 50 - 2 Psychic and 1 Colorless energy

2 Colorless energy
While it is 50/50 if this will work or not, it stops the opponent’s active Pokémon from retreating or attacking if successful. It can heavily slow down the active Pokémon for your opponent, allowing you to regularly get attacks in without taking damage yourself. This tactic allows you to take control ofbattles online inPokemon TCG Pocket.

5Golurk
An Option For Risk Takers
Gorluck is very different from all of the other Pokémon on this list and acts similar to Seeking and Marowak in thatit is a high-risk card to use. It’s only attack, Double Lariat, has the potential to do 200 damage, based on coin flips, which would take out any current Pokémon inPokémon TCG Pocket.

Double Lariat - Damage 100x - 2 Psychic and 2 Colorless energy - (Flip two coins. This attack does 100 damage for each heads.)
4 Colorless energy

It does take four energy to use, but it is an alternative that could be used at the end of a match if you are well behind and need to take a risk to have any chance of winning.
Gorluck has 140 HP, making it very bulky and hard to KO.
4Alakazam
A Great Closure For Battles
Alakazam is one of the best Psychic-type attackers currently available inPokémon TCG Pocket. It does take time to build, being a stage 2 evolution card and requiring three energy to power its only attack. However, it can hit hard.
Abra and Kadabra can also be useful active cards if needed while you are working your way up to Alakazam.
Its attack, Psychic, does at least 60 damage, but forevery energy on the active opponent, it deals another 30.As you get towards the end of a battle, most Pokémon in the active spot will have at least three energy cards on them, meaning if you switch to Alakazam, it can do 150 damage.

Stage 2
Psychic - Damage 60+ - 1 Psychic and 2 Colorless energy - (This attack does 30 more damage for each energy attached to your opponent’s Active Pokémon.)
3Gardevoir
The Best Support Pokemon On Offer
Gardevoir is one of the most effective support cards inPokémon TCG Pocketand is crucial to the meta deck in the game. While Gardevoir’s attack Psyshot has 60 damage, this isn’t why it is one of the best Psychic cards. It has an ability that can be used anytime it is on the bench, Psy Shadow. This allows you to add Psychic energy card every turn to your active Pokémon, meaning you can add two each go, halving the time needed to build to a four-energy attack. For the most powerful Psychic-types, this allows you to work quickly up to the strongest attacks.
Every Immersive Card In Pokémon TCG Pocket (So Far)
Immersive cards in Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket are beautiful glimpses into the world behind the frame of the card, through interactive art.
It is part of themeta Mewtwo EX deck. Mewtwo has to discard two energy cards when using its most powerful attack. However, by having Gardevoir on your bench, you can replenish both of these energy cards in one turn, allowing it to attack again.
110
Psy Shadow - Once during your turn, you may take a Psychic Energy from your Energy Zone and attach it to the Psychic Pokémon in the Active Spot.
Psyshot - Damage 60 - 2 Psychic and 1 Colorless energy
2Genger EX
A Disruptor With Power
Gengar ex is another Pokémon with a strong ability to majorly disrupt an opponent, but it also has an attack that can take most opponents out.Gengar ex has the ability Shadowy Spellbind, which means your opponent can’t use any supporter cards while it is in the active spot. These cards make a huge difference to what players can do and greatly limits their options, especially powerful cards such as Sabrini.
Pokémon TCG Pocket: All Secret Missions & How To Complete Them
Pokémon TCG Pocket offers several missions for players to complete, but what you may not know is there are also several hidden ones to unlock.
Its attack itself, Spooky Shot, does 100 damage, which will overpower all but final stage Pokémon in one hit. It only costs three Psychic energy and doesn’t discard any, so that you’re able to use it on back-to-back turns. Gengar also has the most HP of any Psychic Pokémon current inPokémon TCG Pocket, meaning even the strongest attackers will struggle to remove it.
Gengar’s standard card is also very strong, with an attack that deals 50 damage for only one Psychic energy.
170
Shadowy Spellbind - As long as this Pokémon is in the Active Spot, your opponent can’t use any Supporter cards from their hand.
Spooky Shot - Damage 100 - 3 Psychic energy
1Mewtwo EX
The Original Strongest Pokémon Is Still The Best
Unsurprisingly,Mewtwo EX is the best Psychic-type cardinPokémon TCG Pocket. Alongside the Pikachu EX deck, Mewtwo EX decks are the most popular for competitive players. Mewtwo EX has two attacks, with Psychic Sphere a strong enough attack to do damage, but its strength comes in Psydrive. Its second attack does 150 damage each time, making it strong enough to take only a few cards down in one go.
150
Psychic Sphere - Damage 50 - 1 Psychic and 1 Colorless energy
Attack 2
Psydrive - Damage 150 - 2 Psychic and 2 Colorless energy
(Discard 2 Psychic Energy from this Pokémon)
When paired with Gardevoir to power it up quickly, it is very hard to stop. With one or two in your deck, any opponents will struggle against you inPokémon TCG Pocket.
